Lizzie Evans has always been an enigma to her daughter Sunny, gone for years at a time between visits, sending postcards from all over the world, with no real connection between them. Texas Toast by Mark Leggett is a compelling story that captivated me from beginning to end. I wept and laughed at the same time while reading the book. Mark has an excellent writing style.
